So let's start with replacement parts. One way to keep your grill operating a peak efficiency is to make sure to replace the high use parts as they wear out. Old parts affect the quality of the food you cook. If the burners and heat plates are old and rusty or the cooking grids are cracked, then the food tastes worse and is harder to cook evenly. You want to replace certain grill parts before they wear down too badly. So keep a eye out for visual wear and tear. If you can see rust, cracks, or other imperfections, then the functionality of the grill is already impaired. If your food is not being cooked evenly, or it is difficult to get the grill hot enough to cook (but you don't see any visual signs of wear), then your burners may be failing. A long warm up time is the first sign that your burners need to be replaced.
When you replace a Ducane grill part (or any grill part, for that matter) where there are multiples of the same thing, it is highly recommended that you replace all of them at the same time. Much like car tires, when one thing wears down, there's a high chance that the other, identical parts are not far behind. So if you think one burner or one heat plate is worn out, it's a good idea to go ahead and replace all of them.
Most grills have between two and five heat plates, cooking grids and burners. These are the most highly used parts on the grill and the ones that will need to be replaced the most often. All are easy to order online, have delivered and install yourself on your grill. The replacement Uniflame grill parts that you order should come with instructions for how to change out the worn parts for the new ones. Once you've replaced the old parts, your grill should work as good as new. It's simple, easy and helps your grill to last for decades- literally.

Grilling Tips for your Uniflame Grill
I know, I know, the site doesn't look like much. We do grill parts, not web design. So it's a bit rough. But that doesn't mean that the recipes and tips on this site aren't the best way to wow the crowd. Make the steaks that everyone will be talking about with our tips for better grilling!
Here are a few gems for the week to try on your Uniflame Grill:
1) For slow cooking, cook the meat over an indirect source. Light up one half of the grill and cook the food on the other half. The indirect heat source will slow cook it to perfection!
2) Preheat your grill. No, seriously, preheat it. If you skip this step, you get raunchy meat, and not in the good way.
3) Spray apple juice on chicken and BBQ to keep it moist and delicious.
4) Wrap chicken and kebabs in foil to preserve the juices.

How do you find the parts you need?
When you're shopping for new replacement grill parts for your Uniflame grill, how can you make sure you have the parts you need? If you've been to a local home improvement store, you know that the selection they keep in the store will rarely (okay, almost never) contain what you need. So you're left with ordering online. Which can be absolutely fine- if you know how to look for what you need. It's all about measurements. Grill parts are not like clothes. Size is not subjective. Wouldn't it be nice if clothing sizes were more like grill parts? For everyone? But I digress- back to grill parts. You can measure your current grill parts and usually find a replacement grill part that is the exact same size, to within a quarter inch. Grill makers tend to be very precise like that. That's how they roll. You need a part? Exact measurements will help you find it. It's pretty black and white, since grills are so precisely designed.
Several parts, most notably burners, have a bit of room for error, since they sit on the bottom of the grill and can vary in size just a bit, due to how they're situated. Burners and cooking grids have to be very exact, but burners can vary just a bit, and that can be helpful, given the sheer variety of burners and the number of grills in the US that might not get the exact burners they came with made anymore. Sometimes, you've got to go with a close second, instead of the exact first choice.
